About Us

A Guitar Manufacturing Company Offering One-of-a-Kind Items

Our home-based corporation formed July 12, 2019 with an idea that sprung after Paul and Sean had finished improvements on Sean’s old guitar as a Father (Paul) and Son (Sean) project. With the success of what would later be known as the first prototype, Sean pitched the idea to Paul to form a business making Custom Guitars, thus establishing S&P Ferguson’s, Inc.

Paul brings experience in management, electronics engineering, rebuilding pianos and making banjos. Combined with Sean’s experiences, which includes electronics, cellular communication, and CAD design, and their combined talent in playing guitars, they formed a guitar manufacturing company under the name of S&P Ferguson. Four years into developing custom electric guitars, both Sean and Paul refined their hydro painting process which is now one of our company’s specialized services.

Our Guitar Manufacturing Process

S&P Ferguson’s, Inc. offers a variety of ways and techniques to improve the tonal quality and overall look of each guitar. With every project, we make sure every guitar is shaped, hand sanded, stained, or painted prior to using our hydro painting process.

Our company also uses methods that include removing plastic parts and replacing them with wood. Aside from that, we research on how to reduce electrical interference from outside sources within guitars by using shielded wiring and enclosing the internal wiring cavities with copper shielding.

After this, we start by setting up the guitar string action to medium unless the customer requests for something else. Upon completion, we hang the guitars for a month for what we call the aging process. When the instruments are ready, we verify the setup and check their quality, playability, and sound before listing them in our online guitar shop or delivering them to our clients.

Designs That Are Unlike Any Other

At S&P Ferguson’s, Inc., we pride ourselves in our ability to create uniquely designed pieces that you can’t easily find on the market. That’s why we developed a custom guitar called Molar that was made using our CNC machine. Our prototypes are highly requested by customers and are even tested by different bands.
